ISLAMABAD: The inhabitants and minorities of the sector G-7/3 slums areas observed token hunger strike in the front of the Parliament House against the non provision of electricity.

During their hunger strike and protest demonstration they demanded from the federal government to provide them electricity in Faisal Colony (Kachi Abadi) Sector G-7/3 as soon as possible.

President Christian Alliance Movement Sohail Romi and Rafiq Bhutti in their address said that minorities have consistently been ignored and blamed that their parliamentary leaders that they had done nothing for them.

They further blamed that government had started several developmental programme for minorities but it did not take steps for the minorities living in slum areas of Islamabad.

They also demanded from the Federal Minister for Minorities Mustaq Victor to ensure provision of electricity in slum area of Islamabad on emergency basis in order to provide them relief in this hot weather.
